Bar riviera is currently hosting about six thousand tourists, mainly from Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, France, Belgium, Holland, England.
According to data of TO Bar, tourist tax and membership fees for this period credited a total of 1.226.231 euros.
Municipality of Bar has 36 hotels with a capacity of around 5.700 beds. Of these, 10 are hotels with 4 stars, 12 are hotels with 3 stars and there are 14 hotels with 1 or 2 stars.
According to local authorities, a large number of tourists was also interested in lake shores and rural areas, especially visitors from France, Belgium, Holland, England and France.
TO Bar has implemented numerous activities in order to promote the municipality and its offer, like cooperation with magazines and daily newspapers in Serbia, BiH and Macedonia. it hosted foreign journalists, invested in marketing and promotional activities, supported local artisans in making souvenirs, renovated sightseeing hotspots and gazeebos and made a lot of plans for the forthcoming season.
Record-breaking season in Budva
Budva is officially fully booked.
According to data of TO Budva, the area from Jaz to Buljarica is currently hosting 11.069 mostly foreign tourists, which is as much as 39 percent more than in the same period last year. Of all registered guests, 10.812 are foreigners and only 257 are domestic vacationers.
Tourists are mostly staying in hotel facilities, where there are 9.048 registered guests – a third more than at the end of September last year.
It is estimated that private accommodation presently hosts 1.902 guests, which is twice better than in the same period last year.
Judging by the announcements, this trend will continue in October, and the local TO is proudly advertising the oldest folk festival of wine and fish, “Shirun Day”, when visitors from all parts of Montenegro flock to Budva.
