A2A: We are surprised to see Flavio arrested

“We hope this event will conclude shortly. Company A2A offers full cooperation to Montenegro’s law offices”, company’s statement reads.

By the order of Special State Prosecutor, former financial director of EPCG Flavio Binaco was arrested yesterday. After the hearing, he was sentenced to 72 hours in the detention.

Bianco was arrested a few days after the Special State Prosecution has started an investigation into consultation contracts between EPCG and Italian company A2A. Aside from Bianco, the investigation looks at the former executive director of EPCG Enrico Malerba and former financial director Massimo Sali.

They started working in EPCG in March 2010, in accordance with the management contract signed by the Government and A2A on partial privatization of EPCG.
