Academician Vojislav Vulanović deceased

Vulanović was born in Zagorak, Danilovgrad, on May 17th 1931. He went to teaching school and studied Serbo-Croatian language and literature at the University of Novi Sad.

As a teacher he spent many years in Vojvodina, and from 1976 until he retired he worked as lector in the Parliament of Montenegro.

He published more than 30 books of poetry for adults and children, that were seen as a significant contribution to Montenegrin literature.

Vulanović won many awards for his literary work, among them the national 13th July Award.

His funeral will be on May 22nd at 15h in his home village Zagorak.
