Adriatic Properties’ offer for buying the Durmitor hotel assessed as the best

“Adriatic Property’s offer is the most favourable. We will inform the other bidders on the decision. They have a right to complain. After that, the contract will be signed”, Jovic explained.

The hotel in Zabljak was listed for €643,739, as a part of the bankrupt Durmitor ski centre’s assets. Adriatic Properties offered €650,000 for the hotel, which is by about €6,000 higher than ask price. The Budva-based company owned by businessman Petros Stathis has successfully managed Aman Resort in Sveti Stefan for several years, as well as the Queen’s Beach hotel in Milocer and recently Maestral hotel in Przno. The company plans to build a luxury five star hotel in Zabljak.

In addition to the Adriatic Properties company, Montenegrin Lottery owner Sava Grbovic, Podgorica-based company Nemesis, as well as Niksic-based companies Comp Commerce and Top Force System were interested in buying the Durmitor hotel.

The first tender for selling the hotel was called in mid-February 2013. Since then, 16 public tenders failed.
