Danilović was not informed of arrests, he invited citizens to stay at home

“I have not gotten any information. But the fact that 20 people entered the country to cause riots is worrisome. I asked for a meeting with director of Police Directorate, but he is in the fields. Someone will be held responsible and our police will have to make contact with Serbian institutions in order to resolve this. The only thing I know is that no political subjects in Montenegro are behind this”, Danilović said.

Minister said that yesterday video system registering individuals entering the country broke down.

He wondered why was he not notified.

“I have unofficial information but I expect PD to inform me officially, and I am concerned they have not done so yet. Director of PD will not even answer my calls. Rare are the countries in Europe where such things can happen. I was notified of much smaller misdemeanors, but not of this”, Danilović said.

Danilović invited leaders of political parties to refrain from inviting citizens to gather in the streets after voting due to safety risks.

“I ask of political representatives to be up to the task and take care of the citizens”, Danilović said, adding that his plea is based on unofficial information.
