Djukanovic and Vucic met in New York: Attention should be paid to economic cooperation

The two prime ministers discussed the improvement of relations between the two countries.

“They expressed satisfaction with the continuous rise of bilateral relations and jointly stated that more attention should be paid to economic cooperation in mutual interest”, the government stated.

Djukanovic and Vucic also discussed current developments in the region. They agreed that peace and stability of the Western Balkans have no alternative, adding that it is the foundation of economic and overall progress of all countries in the region.

“It was emphasised that today we need to think seriously about the future of our relations, taking into account the common interests and strategic objectives, as well as the new challenges the region and Europe faced”, the government said.
