According to the PM, that is particularly reflected in defence area, rule of law and the fight against corruption and organised crime, which contributed to the result crucial for Montenegro’s success in Euro-Atlantic integration.
Djukanovic said he hoped that the economic cooperation in the coming period would be further strengthened through continued improving the business environment and attract prominent American investors who would bring not only capital and the necessary experience, but also knowledge and management skills.
He pointed out that Montenegro is a sincere and reliable partner to the United States, adding that it would stay so after the general elections on 16 October.
Hoyt Yee congratulated for implementing the agreement on creating conditions for free and fair elections, which, he said, proved to be a good move for the state and the region.
“Regardless of the outcome of the election, it is a good message to the Montenegrin society”, he said.
