“This seems to be a well established practice, not only here, but in the region in general. We have seen results of such irresponsible journalism when it helped terrorists who assassinated Serbian prime minister. Unprofessional and irresponsible behavior of the public are unacceptable faced with our challenges. If someone is challenging official results of investigations of Montenegro and Serbia and is still talking of waiters, cooks, etc trying to make the situation into a caricature, then they are positioning themselves as helpers of terrorists”, Đukanović said.
Prime Minister said that it would be good “if the media in Montenegro and the region were more professional and responsible to their verbal credo”.
“They are very critical towards leaderships and I support this. But when you fight crime, mafia, terrorism and then see this behavior in the media, you see that they are helping to decrease the seriousness of these events”, Đukanović said.
