State Secretary for EU integration and main negotiator Aleksandar Andrija Pejović spoke with Mayr-Harting today in Brussels.
They exchanged opinions on current and planned activities in Montenegro’s negotiating process, and other relevant matters in the region and EU.
Mayr-Harting congratulated the opening of two new chapters, which continues Montenegro’s EU integration.
New Global Strategy is a document that confirms the continuation of reforms, rule of law, economic management and good neighbouring relations on Western Balkan and Turkey. Politics of expansion play a key role in progress of countries, and presents their investment in European safety and progress.
The document states that the expansion will continue in accordance with clear and fair conditions that are based on accomplishing requests and reforms, cooperation with European Commission, member states and civic society.
