Flights restored: Tonight the departure of Turkish Airlines from PG to Istanbul

Since this morning’s flight of Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Podgorica was cancelled because of a bombing attack at the airport Ataturk, updated information is that the flights are now regularly operating. 

Turkish Airlines confirmed to CdM that it got the approval for tonight’s flight from Podgorica to Istanbul.

Flights from Ataturk were previously cancelled because of a bomb attack at Ataturk airport in Istanbul, in which by the latest reports at least 36 people were killed, and over 150 were injured. 

As world media report, airplanes started flying to and from Istanbul airport Ataturk this morning. 

“Airport was open for arrivals and departures at 2.20 am and air traffic was restored to normal”, said Turkish prime miinster Binali Yildirim at the press conference held at 3 am this morning, it was reported at the website of the newspaper “Hurriyet”.
