Gojkovic told Montenegrin reporters in Rio de Janeiro that Hungary had enormous quality, but that Montenegro knew how to reach the semi-finals.
“They always think they are the best, it’s in their blood. They have tremendous qualities, but we have a lot to show too. We know everything about them. We also know how to stop them. It will be a tough game. In such matches players do their best, their maximum. It is the only way to win”, Gojkovic said.
The coach added that we needed to impose a rhythm that suits us.
“We rested, we are fresh and we did not exhaust ourselves in the game against Spain. After the first four games, physical condition of our players was poor. It is much better now. I’m sure they have the strength and energy to play a though game”, Gojkovic said.
Montenegro national team plays against Hungary on Tuesday at 4pm.
