Ivanović in China: The same concept of development should be applied in Montenegro

“Montenegro is taking part in all the initiatives with the “16+1″ form. No one is lost if they are on the right way. I believe this is it. This format presents an extraordinary chance for strengthening regional cooperation. I believe in the future of our relationships”, Ivanović said.

In order for it to be secure, we must turn to the young people.

“Your support would mean a lot for a faster pace of our development in energy, tourism and agriculture”, Ivanović added.

Vice President of China’s Government agreed with Ivanović on points of culture, education and better youth involvement and connection.

Kai said there are friendship and cooperation between two countries, and China will mark ten years of bilateral relationship with Montenegro next month.

“Montenegro has good international politics and we appreciate it. We believe all countries are equal, no matter their size. We support Montenegro on its road to EU. China sees Montenegro as a friend and partner, in economy, infrastructure, energy, agriculture. Format “16+1” gives enough space for all the initiatives. China wants to have new models of cooperation based on innovation, openness and inclusion”, he added.

Ivanović introduced Kai to Montenegro’s political situation, the fact that Nikšić signed cooperation with Baoding. He suggested cooperation on three levels: bilateral, local, and within “16+1” initiative.

He said that all three represent good implementation of Chinese vision. He thanked China for support, especially when it comes to EU, and invited Kai to visit Montenegro.

Vice President of Montenegrin Government Petar Ivanović spoke first at the conference Construction of a Road and a Way and international cooperation in producing capacities, where Prime MInister of China Ma Kai and Prime MInister of Czech Republic Bohuslav Sobotka also spoke.
