Kacin: It’s not good for the opposition that the prime minister arbitrates their decision

Kacin added that it’s not good that the opposition is forcing prime minister Djukanovic to decide or arbitrate which members of the opposition will join the government.

“I don’t want to defend anyone but it’s not current prime minister’s responsibility to choose personnel from the opposition instead of themselves doing it”, said Kacin for Pobjeda.

“I can express great satisfaction that the agreement was finally made because it showed that political elites are capable of dialogue. Since the agreement has been signed, I don’t see how could anyone be dissatisfied. This fact should be welcomed and further efforts should be in the same direction”, said Slovenian diplomat.

Kacin, however, warns that the Agreement needs to be implemented too.

“History of mankind is full of agreements that haven’t been implemented. Now comes the second phase, the more difficult one, in which we will see how responsible are the sides that signed the agreement”, said Kacin.

Kacin invited Montenegrin opposition to agree on a unified list of candidates for the government.

He said that it’s not Djukanovic’s responsibility to arbitrate within the opposition although he will lead the new government.

I don’t want to defend anyone but it’s not current prime minister’s responsibility to choose personnel from the opposition instead of themselves doing it”, concluded Kacin.
