Besides expenses for official trips, mobile phones, salaries and similar, an interesting thing is that Montenegrin parliament spent 1.400 euros in first six months for gym memberships, it remains unclear who used these services it was reported by Dnevne newspaper.
Only for representation expenses in this period the Parliament has spent 16.962 euros.
For conference “Freedom of expression and responsibility of media” which was held in becici from 21st to 23rd February this year, 3.444 euros of representation was paid to Beppler Jacobson Montenegro.
With this, another 18.738 euros were spent for organization which were paid to hotel group Montenegro Stars. Renting the equipment cost 11.427 euros and the stage was 5.729 euros. So according to the records, the conference cost the Parliament 39.338 euros.
Fuel expenses were 18.810 euros. For official trips 300.606 euros were spent, out of which 197.968 euros for traveling abroad (airplane tickets, taxi, daily reimbursements).
Parliament members wren’t much more modest when it comes to mobile phone expenses, 81 parliament members spent 30.912 euros for mobile phones.
The biggest amount of money is spent on salaries as expected and this has been spoken about earlier, since the parliament members at the beginning of the year voted in the law that increases salaries to all public officials, including themselves. Only for salaries of 81 parliament member, in half a year we spent more than three and a half million euros.
