MFA: No Montenegrin nationals killed or injured in Nice

At least 84 people were killed and over a hundred injured when a truck stormed into the crowded promenade in Nice, France, during the celebration of Bastille Day.

“Montenegro’s Embassy in France is in constant contact with the French authorities. Based on currently available information, there is no indication that any Montenegrin citizens have been injured or killed in the attack”, the MFA told CdM.

The French and American presidents agree – it was a terrorist attack.

State of emergency in France has been extended for another three months, while the state in the meantime called to arms a total of 10,000 reservists, announcing fierce attacks on targets in Iraq and Syria.

The attacker, Mohamed Lahouai Bulel (31), was originally from Tunisia.
