MNSS vs Montenegro: Final verdict in six to 12 months

“After the hearings, the Arbitral Tribunal has the possibility – should they deem it necessary – to hold an additional hearing, although this is not the common practice. It is expected that in the period from the next six to 12 months, the International Center gives its final position”, the Tender Commission told Pobjeda daily.

Lawyers of Montenegro in this process believe that the state did not violate the protection of investors.

When asked which outcome of the arbitration is to be expected, the Tender Commission said any qualifications, evaluations or expectations cannot be given at this time.

“Because of the arbitration procedure is not appropriate, nor is it allowed”, the Tender Commission explained.
