Montenegro and China published envelopes, officials exchanged notes

President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović wrote to the President of China Xi Jinping that our two countries have good friendship relations based on long tradition and mutual respect and trust.

“Respected President, let me express my honest admiration for the progress China has made during the last 30 years, especially in its economy. On that note, I would like to say that Montenegro and China are not only political allies, but serious economic partners through Montenegro’s active role within Chinese program 16+1, operating in middle and south Europe”, the letter of Montenegrin President reads.

Letter sent by the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Darko Pajović, sent to the President of National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang, speaks about the readiness of our country to continue progress in cooperation in all areas of mutual interests for people of Montenegro and China.

“In the next period, we need to work together to realize the potentials our relationship has in all the areas, especially tourism, culture and economy. I want to believe that the future of Montenegro will be full of historical projects such as the highway, that contributes to our better friendship”, his letter reads.

Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of China, wrote to Prime Minister Milo Đukanović, saying that during the last decade the bilateral relations between our countries have developed into something stable and worthwhile.

“China would like to achieve cooperation with Montenegro at the highest level, using platforms such as 16+1”, Li Keqiang’s letter reads.

Montenegrin post stamp and envelope was done by Zoran Popović, graphic designer from Podgorica, and issued by Montenegro’s Post. Chinese envelope is the work of Ma Siaoling, issued yesterday by National Philatelist Corporation of China.
