Montenegro and Serbia to jointly participate at fairs in Tokyo and Shanghai

Gvozdenovic and Ljajic met in Belgrade to discuss possibilities for improving cooperation in the field of tourism.

Minister Gvozdenovic announced a record-breaking tourism season in our country and invited tourists from Serbia who intend to spend their vacation abroad to come to Montenegro.

Ljajic expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the tourism exchange between the two countries is growing steadily, adding that in the first four months of 2016, Montenegrin tourists recorded the highest number of overnight stays in Serbia among all foreign tourists.

Speaking about the problems of the hotels on the Montenegrin coast owned by Serbia, which are not currently not in operation, the ministers pointed out the urgency of resolving their status.
