As the Queer Montenegro organisation announced, the Pride Week event would be organised before the Pride Parade. It includes a series of cultural, educational and entertainment programmes, promotion of Montenegrin and foreign authors.
“The organising committee of the fourth Montenegro Pride has created the event Pride Week in the manner of contemporary and modern ways to promote queer culture and the arts in general, which are primarily in the service of the citizens of Podgorica and Montenegro,” the statement said.
Within the Pride Week, a series of events will be organised including literary, musical, children, film, polemical and analytical activities.
“Queer Montenegro and Montenegro Pride will host relevant artists from these areas, promote Montenegrin authors, present foreign authors and animate as much space in the city”, the statement said.
The organising committee will announce more details about the Pride Parade and the Pride Week during the next week.
