No sign of Nemanja or his car: Police started questioning his friends

According to findings of Dnevne Novine daily, the police search was broadened to include all available resources. They are taking statements from all persons who have been in contact with the missing young man, and even activated the helicopter in search of him, but so far, there’s no trace of Mr. Medin or his car, a white Renault Megane, white registration plates BD BB142.

In addition to statements taken from members of his family, the police in Budva yesterday heard a number of individuals with whom Medin was recently in contact, including the person he reportedly met with on Friday in Virpazar.

The day and night search has been ongoing since Saturday, and on Sunday, a helicopter was included, as DN reports, engaged by the Directorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the initiative of the Budva police officers involved in the search.

The helicopter lifted off from Podgorica at about 14 hours and immediately headed to Virpazar, where Nemanja was last seen. After search of the area gave no results, the pilot, accompanied by family members of the missing young man, proceeded to search above the territory of Pastrovici, Sutorman, and Rijeka Crnojevića.

But this did not produce the sighting of Nemanja or his car, so the aircraft landed at the local stadium in Budva.

Bar and Podgorica police are also looking for him. His car was last seen at around 5:30 PM. The Medin family appeals to all those who have any information to contact the phone number 068-417-510.

The police have not officially made a statement on this case.
