Nobu Montenegro: Matsuhisa visited Sveti Stefan

Restaurant Nobu Montenegro is opened at one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Montenegro, Queen’s chair. This place is known by this name because it was the favorite resting place of the queen Marija Karadjordjevic, during the time she spent in a nearby king’s summer house. 

Nobu kitchen is recognisable by a unique combination of traditional Japanese kitchen, which was amended by innovations and specialties of the culinary characteristics of the locations in which the restaurant is situated, meaning that in Nobu Montenegro restaurant some traces of Montenegrin kitchen can be found on the menu. 

According to Matsuhisa, Montenegro is a beautiful country, and our sea has a lot of high quality fish. Also, as he said, In Sveti Stefan restaurant around 40 people are employed, mostly from Montenegro, while the top management is from all over the world made of people with massive experience. 

Partnership with Robert de Niro

Nobu, a world renowned Japanese restaurant famous for introduction of the new style of Japanese cuisine, started as a business partnership in 1994 between chef Noby Matsuhisa and his partners Robert de Niro, poducer Meir Teper and businessman Drew Nieporent.

Ever since he opened its doors for the first time in New York, Nobu has become a global kingdom with over 30 restaurants all over the world, and a beautiful collection of Nobu hotels which provide beauiful experiences for their guests.
