Olivera Ilincic on a wanted list, awaiting Serbia’s response

However, according to unofficial information, Montenegrin institutions still haven’t received an affirmative response from Serbian colleagues althought the communication was made via international legal assistance.

Special public prosecution, as DN reported, owns a lot of evidence that point out Ilincic as one of the organizers of a criminal group which was led by, as he himself confessed, director of Political council of DPS Svetozar Marovic.

Marovic recently signed an agreement on guilt confession, which was sent to Higher court in Podgorica for further evaluation, and another such document is being prepared. Unofficially, Marovic confessed that he formed a criminal organization of around 30 people, but moduls for multi-million corruption affairs were designed by ilincic, who had direct access to accounts on which the money was kept.

MUP of Serbia: We cannot respond to the request at the moment

Following the information that Central national bureau of Interpol in Podgorica has issued a red warrant for Ilincic, DN sent a request to Ministry of internal affairs of Serbia asking whether they had any information that Ilincic is in their country, and whether they will arrest her at the request of Montenegro. However, from the office of this ministry a short response came that they are currently not able to respond to this question.
