Pajovic with Meta and Rama: Albanian parliament members will be able to use native language

“Pajovic thanked for friendly and honest reception by the hosts emphasizing that until now he has heard a lot about Albanian hospitality but that he personally experienced it in these two days”, it was said from the cabinet of the president of the Parliament. 

Also, during the talk about upcoming activities he announced that the parliament of Montenegro will positively respond to the initiative of the parliament members from Albanian national parties to provide them with possibility of using their native language in the Parliament. 

“Both parties expressed their satisfaction by excellent neighbour relations that are characterized by mutual help, trust and respect, and agreed upon the upcoming activities which will additionally strengthen and enrich relations between Montenegro and Albania”, it was stated in the announcement. 

Member of the delegation of Montenegrin parliament was also the president of the Board for international relations and immigrants Miodrag Vukovic. 

Rama: Other partners should ratify the Protocol too

By todays ratification of the protocol for accession of Montenegro in NATO Albania will send a message to other partners to finish internal procedures of ratification as soon as possible, because membership of Montenegro in NATO is a win for all of the Alliance, said prime minister Edi Rama during the meeting with president of the parliament Darko Pajovic. 

While talking about the close relations between two countries, Rama expressed his great satisfaction by the information that Albanian parliament members will soon be granted a possibility of permanent communication in their native language in Montenegrin parliament. 

He emphasized that this may be a small techincal issue, but that it shows a tremendous respect and that citizens of both of our countries would “choose respect even before food”.
