PCG Main Board additionally reviewed circumstances related to the plan for overcoming political crisis

“The Main Board has confirmed that the PCG’s plan means resolving the political crisis and providing political stability, as well as creating conditions for fair and democratic elections and continuing the integration process,” the PCG stated.

At the invitation of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), PCG Vice President Azra Jasavic and head of the party’s caucus Goran Tuponja discussed the PCG’s plan with the deputy president of DPS Dusko Markovic.

The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) finds the plan of Positive Montenegro (PCG) to overcome the political crisis generally acceptable.

The Civic Movement URA pleaded the plan was unacceptable for it. According to the initial reactions, the rest of the opposition will say NO to the PCG’s mechanisms to overcome the political crisis.

Among other things, PCG’s plan includes reconstruction of the existing government – which would have representatives of the parliamentary opposition, at the political and expert level – in order for them to be able to monitor financial flows, employing and social welfare distribution from the ministerial posts and thus to create the conditions for fair and democratic elections without abuse of public resources.

These and other measures stipulated by the plan should be implemented within 90 days and they represent a condition for the PCG to support the government, said the party leader Darko Pajovic.
