Beautiful concert was a part of the action to support ecological awareness, and was done in Montenegro for the first time in cooperation with Luštica Bay. International soul star donated her honorarium to Montenegrin green NGOs, among which Center for Protection and Study of Birds CZIP and international center for sustainable cultural cooperation Krug, with a seat in London and representations in Montenegro.
Concert was a part of Joss Stone Total World Tour, during which the singer has a goal of performing in every country in the world, rising global ecological awareness.
“Luštica Development is dedicated to develop Luštica Bay project in an ecologically sustainable manner, and as a part of that dedication, to rise general ecological awareness. When we were offered the chance to cooperate with Joss Stone, we were happy to accept”, said Darren Gibson, executive director of Luštica Development, in charge of developing Luštica Bay.
“This concert is a wonderful example of green culture uniting us in giving support to our most immediate environment, our nature and our planet. Luštica Development has recognized the importance of this mission and enabled the organization of this concert”, said Vesna Sokolovska Jovićević, founder of NGO Krug (green culture networking).
International soul singer is often compared to Aretha Franklin, and she mesmerized the audience. She fascinated the visitors of ALmara with her unique voice. She performed barefoot in a long white dress. She won one Grammy award and has sold more than 12 million copies of her albums.
