PHOTO: Electric racing car presented in Podgorica

“Pehlivan team” which includes around 20 young people was gathered in 2013 at the University of Trakya, with the goal of designing a modern electric car, it as reported by Anadolu Agency. 

Students designed a red car with weight of 240 kilograms, and four meters long. It is made of carbon fibers and because of its design and racing capabilities it has won many awards. 

The car has a four wheels drive and a two people capacity. When it comes to propulsion, the car is using 3kWh batteries. With full batteries, it can travel the distance of 120 kilometers and reach maximum speed of 110 km/h.

Presentation of the car was held at the faculty, after which the students and the professors of the Faculty of electrical engineering examined the car at the plateau in front of the faculty unit. 

Besides students and professors whou curiously examined the racing car, it was also examined and tested by the ambassador of Turkey in Montenegro Serhat Galip. 

“Pehlivan team” will also visit Albania, and in previous days they already visited Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece and Macedonia.
