As previously announced, after the end of the autumn field work, an analysis based on a specially developed methodology and results of the four seasonal measurements will be completed.
According to the director of “Ozon” Aleksandar Perovic, in this way the improvement of the existing database of solid waste in the region will be given a significant contribution. Thus the strategic planning and any other planning will be facilitated for relevant institutions.
“Also, we will contribute to more favourable environment for interested investors, who will finally be able to obtain all relevant information without which it is not possible to discuss in a serious way the most adequate technological solutions with all the accompanying analyses related to economy and environmental impact. I want to emphasise the role of our team consisting of seven young engineers and environmental specialists and one biologist, who deserved compliments of all partners within the project for their work and commitment. I believe they had a unique opportunity to apply theory in practice,” he added.
