Ambition of the city management is to create conditions for Podgorica to become a serious candidate for the prestigious title of the green capital of Europe in the upcoming period.
“Through partnership with Telekom company we renovated the existing fittings on the jogging track in Tolosi, built new open air gyms, changed the lighting and built in the antenas for internet. We can also announce with pleasure that a new jogging track will be built soon in Tolosi whch will have modern equimpment, in order to create additional places for citizens of Podgorica where they can go for a rest and recreation”, it was said to Dnevne newspaper in the managemnt of the Capital city.
By realization of the donation contract between Capital city and embassy of PR of China, the park on Pobrezje was reconstructed with renovation of plants and technical equipment.
The Capital city recently supported the action of ‘greening’ the Cemovsko field which was organized by Hemofarm, Hemomont and Hemofarm Foundation and on this occasion a 100 seedlings were planted at one part of the aforementioned park-forest, which is regularly watered and maintained by the city adinistration which intends to make this area a natural resouce.
“Through private-public partnership we are realizing the project of construction of an Adventure park on hill Gorica. By its construction, which is in its final phase, touristic offer of the Capital city will be richer because it will be available to all the citizens of Podgorica as well as to tourists”, it was said from the city management.
