The invitation was sent after Medojevic said in the Parliament, and then to Dnevne newspaper too, that the prosecution knows the identity of the attacker on former chief of police department for organized crime, and that this is a person operating on the route Sarajevo-Banja Luka-Switzerland.
Medojevic said that he doesn’t know who is the person that fired the shots, and that everything he knows about the case he had said in the parliament. Since the prosecution hadn’t sent him an invitation by then, he stated that he didn’t say anything that they didn’t already know. He said that the information that he has is very precise and correct and that the source is from reliable sources from our national security services.
Sukovic was wounded on 11th of July early morning in the center of Podgorica. Unknown attacker with a hat, which was caught by security cameras near the scene of the attack shot Sukovic in the foot, and the act was registered as an attempt of a murder.
The police published the photo of the suspect right after the incident and invited everyone who might know something about him to notify the police. MUP recently issued a bounty of 30.000 euros for any information on the attacker.
