Vujovic has not been owner of Mikulic Company since 2012; he did not want to comment on the tax debt

At the press conference he organised because of an article published by Dnevne Novine newspapers, he said he had sold his share in Mikulic Company in 2012, which he provided evidence for.

“I have had no connections with Cetinje-based Mikulic Company since 22 March 2012, when I transferred the ownership rights, ie 100% founding share, as well as the power of representation to the new owner by a contract on the sale of the founders’ share”, Vujovic said, adding that the new owner has the same name and surname as his. “The agreement on sale from 26 March 2012 stipulates that the company and the founder are responsible for all existing and future obligations of the company”.

As further explained, according to the aforementioned agreement, the new founder was obliged to incorporate the changes made in the company’s charter and to submit relevant data to the Central Registry of the Commercial Court.

He said that the fact he remained registered as an authorised representative of the company after 22 March 2012 by somebody’s mistake showed lack of promptness of the state administration. Vujovic added that the very lack of promptness was something he wanted to end when he agreed to join the government of electoral trust.

He said that the attacks by certain media outlets were caused by the evidence he presented and questions he asked although the current government does not like them.

“It is known that the government uses the harshest methods when someone tries to take off its mask and present it to the public in the right light”, said Vujovic.
