Fuel prices go up as of New Year

All fuel types will be more expensive in Montenegro as of New Year, Ministry of Economy stated.

Prices of BMB98 and BMB 95 will be higher by €0.02, so that a litre of this fuel will cost €1.30.

A litre of euro diesel will cost €1.18, whereas a litre of fuel oil in the wholesale market will cost €1.115.

The increase in the fuel prices is caused by VAT increase to 21%. These prices will be valid until 9 January 2018 when the next calculation will be made according to the Regulation on the method of forming maximum retail prices of petroleum products.
