The film’s plot takes place in several countries – the U.S., Germany, Norway, the UK, Serbia and Montenegro.
“Meet Me in Montenegro” is based on the true story of author’s life. A failed American director spends his vacation in Berlin where he meets a Norwegian dancer. Chemistry occurs between them and they are going for a spontaneous journey across the Balkans.
By the time they come to Montenegro, they have already been in love. However, at a beach in Budva she suddenly leaves him without explanation, having realised that their life plans are taking them to different directions.
The film is directed by Alex Holdridge and Linnea Saasen.
