Members of the Montenegrin police arrested two people and seized 150 kilograms of marijuana.
Police Directorate stated that the Tuzi border police team found the narcotics while checking three vehicles in the Medun-Kuci site heading towards Podgorica.
“Officers searched Audi A3 car with Danilovgrad registration driven by E.S. (26) from Podgorica, VW Sharan car with Podgorica registration plates driven by M.C. (23) from Podgorica and Audi A3 car with Podgorica registration plates driven by M.K. (21) from Podgorica,” the directorate said.
“The police found and seized eight bags containing 150 packs of dark greenery matter that is suspected to be marijuana weighing about 150 kilograms,” the directorate added.
Persons, vehicles and seized drugs have been handed over to the officers of the Department for the Fight Against Drugs, for further legal action.
