In the name of the stimulation of electricity production from renewable resources, privileged producers were paid 7,5 million EUR in the first six months of the year.
According to the Montenegro Electricity Market Operator, the highest share in the production of electricity from renewable resources has wind farm Krnovo (57%), whereas 12 small hydro power plants had 43%.
“Krnovo Green Energy” company, in the ownership of Austrian “Ivicom Consulting” and French “Akuo Energy” also got the most amount of money in the first two quarters of the year. As far as small hydro power plants are concerned, “Hidroenergija Montenegro”, founded by Ranko Ubović, Aleksandar Mijajlović and the “Hemera Capital” company, received 1,5 million EUR in the first six months.
“Kronor” company from Podgorica got 1,1 million EUR in the first six months. Founders of this company are “Kroling”, “Mont hidro” and “Normal”.
“Hidro Bistrica” generated 6,2 million KwH in the first six months and it was paid 300.000 EUR. “Synergy” company received around 100.000 EUR whereas “Igma Energy” got around 270.000 EUR for the generated 5,1 million KwH.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy said earlier that incentives for the energy produced from the renewable resources for this year remain the same.
