P.Đ. (45), from Podgorica, was placed under arrest today on suspicion of smuggling 361,03 kg of skunk, from Albania into Montenegro. The drug was discovered at the hill Stegvaš.
The drug was found in a van, packed with sacks and heavy bags full of skunk.
The suspect fled to Albania shortly after the police found the drug, but he was arrested very soon and handed over to the Montenegrin police.
He will be taken to the High State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica on suspicion that he committed a criminal offence – unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotics.
