A recommendation of cruise ships tourists: Visit Kotor!

Tourists who came to Kotor by cruise ships are mostly from the US (27 per cent), followed by Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Japan, China, Korea, Canada and Belgium.

The average age of the guests from cruise ships is 59, according to Radio Kotor.

As many as 98% of them were in Kotor for the first time and spent six hours on average there.

When asked how they learned of Kotor, 6% respondents answered “through friends”, 9% from the media, 5% via the Internet and 80% through tourist agencies.

Even 95% of visitors considered Kotor is clean and tidy town, and 62% of them believe that the service in the restaurants is very good. The vast majority of 87% visit San Giovanni and only 44% plan to visit the Roman Mosaics in Risan.

When it comes to spending, 33% of visitors spent between €10–20, 43% spent €20–50 and 24% spent over €50 while staying in Kotor.

Last year 412 cruise ships came into the port of Kotor with 442.030 passengers and 1,570 yachts with 7,100 passengers.
