Abazović: Process of the formation of Montenegro as a civil state won’t be fast

Abazović

Leader of URA, Mr Dritan Abazović, said that process of the formation of the new, civil Montenegro, “will not be fast”.

Commenting on the statements made by Mr Zdravko Krivokapić, that Montenegro is a Serbian state, and the video that shows Mr Krivokapić kissing tricolor, Mr Abazović said:

“I can’t agree with every action and every statement I hear coming from everywhere, but the government should leave the past behind. We must present civil, European Montenegro. I think that statement about two Serbian states is a historical quote. Essentially, our future is in two sovereign states, that should be more democratic. We should build bridges of cooperation and avoid situations that might jeopardize Montenegro’s civil character”, Mr Abazović said.

URA leader says that decision of the Bosniaks not to enter the government was expected to him.

Members of national minorities will be part of the government anyway.

Mr Abazović said to TV Vijesti that the objective was to reconcile Montenegro, its economic recovery.

He reiterated that his party was interested in security sector and added he wasn’t sure that those who tried to burn flags should not be part of the Ministry of Defense.

He said his staff members are able to contribute to healthcare sector and education sector.
