Ana Brnabic comes to Montenegro

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic will lead a delegation of Serbia at the Adriatic Charter Summit (a meeting of the leaders of the US-Adriatic Charter (A5) member countries), hosted by PM Dusko Markovic.

The Serbian Government confirmed this for Beta news agency.

Also expected to attend are the leaders of members Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Macedonia, as well as the countries with observer status – Kosovo and Slovenia, in addition to Serbia’s Ana Brnabic’s delegation.

US Vice President Mike Pens will also attend the summit. He will meet President and Prime Minister of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic and Dusko Markovic at Gorica Villa. Pence is the highest ranking US Official to visit Montenegro in more than a hundred years. At the same time, it will also be the first visit to the region by the highest representative of President Donald Trump’s administration and his closest associate.

Pence told reporters in Tallin that US President Donald Trump had sent him to Europe “to convey a very simple message – that America First does not mean America on its own”.

“Our message to the Baltic countries and my message during the visit Georgia and Montenegro will be the same: to our allies here in Eastern Europe – USA is on your side,” Pence told Fox News.
