Around 612, 6 million EUR was invested last year for the implementation of 539 projects all with the aim of establishing balanced regional development.
Miloš Čelanović, Director of the Directorate for Development within the Ministry of Economy says that the percentage of the implementation of planned projects is very high. The level of investments in 2018 is expected to be high as well.
“When it comes to financing structures, projects and activities were financed by state budget, but also from crediting, private capital, EU funds, budgets of local administrations and donations”, said Čelanović.
For the forthcoming period, it’s necessary that the Government consistently implement structural reforms, and be dedicated fully to the implementation of all projects envisaged by the Action plan in 2018.
