Bar police arrested C.L. (51) on reasonable suspicion that he had committed the criminal offense of causing general danger by setting a small house on fire. The house belonged to a Lithuanian citizen.
C.L. is suspected of committing this crime on 18 July at about 10.30pm in the Tudjemili neighbourhood. He was burning weeds and accidentally set the house of Lithuanian citizen E.K. on fire. The wooden roof and floor construction caught fire, Police Directorate explained.
The resulting fire threatened to spread to the surrounding, the expert witness said.
