Bar-Bari ferry as of 19 May

The Barska Plovidba company and Croatian Jadrolinija signed agreement on mutual cooperation in Rijeka yesterday, thus allowing re-establishing the Bar-Bari ferry line as of 19 May, the Barska Plovidba CEO Milo Paunovic told Pobjeda.

Last week, the company stated that the Rijeka-based company had the best offer among all bidders and that the cooperation with this renowned and oldest ferry company on the Adriatic would bring only benefits to Barska Plovidba.

“This is not the first time to maintain the Bar-Bari route in this way – something similar was done in 1990s,” the Bar-based company stated.

Representatives of Barska Plovidba announced that their expert team would continue to examine the market of used ferries, ie find an adequate replacement for Sveti Stefan II ship.
