Montenegro Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the local management and citizens on the Municipality Day of Kolašin – 28 August, stressing that numerous activities currently to be undertaken in this Municipality will contribute to its accelerated development in the coming years.
At the meeting held with the President of the Municipality of Kolašin, Mr Milosav Bulatović, the President of the Municipal Assembly, Mr Milan Đukić, and the Vice-President of the Municipality of Kolašin, Mr Danilo Medenica, PM Marković emphasized the importance of developing road and utility infrastructure in Kolašin, as key preconditions for its development and better life of its residents.
“In this respect, the Prime Minister pointed out to the construction of the motorway and Kolašin 1600 ski resort that create a new value, not only for this Municipality but for the north and the whole country as well. The capital budget envisages several projects referring to Kolašin which will contribute to the improvement of the quality of infrastructure,” the Government of Montenegro said in a statement.
Mr Marković praised the local administration in its efforts to stabilize public finances and encouraged them to go on and achieve even better results in this respect.
