Budva police arrested Belgrade resident G.D. (50), who is wanted by Interpol Vienna for aggravated theft.
According to Police Directorate, Austrian judicial authorities issued arrest warrant against G.D. in order to secure his presence in criminal proceedings against him in that state on grounds of reasonable suspicion that he committed aggravated theft.
“The suspect was brought to an investigation judge of the Podgorica High Court and then remanded for extradition. The further procedure involves contacts between Montenegrin and Austrian competent authorities about the extradition details,” the directorate said.
