Better drunk than stupid

Nikolaidis

The article is written by Mr Andrej Nikolaidis, CdM columnist.

In the sad Montenegro, it turned out, the DPS was a bastion of rationality. They were stealing, of course. But theft is not irrational – especially if you are not caught. Especially not in capitalism, which, by constantly calling for a relentless fight against crime and abuse of power, tries unsuccessfully to cover up the fact that it is based on theft and abuse of power. Let’s put it this way: one could burst out laughing as he watches the banking system, the most corrupt institution in human history, call for the fight against corruption. In addition to stealing, capitalism is based on the ideas of rationality (“steal so they don’t catch you; even better – so they don’t know you ripped them off”), efficiency (“don’t let a day go by without stealing”) and progress (“tomorrow steal more than today, as you stole more today than yesterday”).

If anyone doubted, PM Zdravko Krivokapić has made it all clear. Firstly: he is not bound by the laws of this world, but of the other world, which are older. If the legislation of Montenegro and Heaven/Hell is in conflict, the laws of afterlife shall apply. Everything is flourishing for us: especially the rule of law. Secondly: for Zdravko, i.e. for the state, the believers of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) have more rights than other citizens of Montenegro. What is allowed to them – mass gatherings indoors, for example – is not allowed to other citizens. Thirdly: SOC priests are above the law – just like during the DPS rule, after all.
