Chairman of the EP Delegation to Montenegro, Vladimír Bilčík, says that the EU is worried about Montenegro’s economy, noting that they’re ready to help.
“Montenegro is the EU candidate country so we’re naturally concerned about the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on its economy. The EP encourages Montenegro’s government to use EU’s assistance in the best way possible in order to alleviate consequences of the crisis and prepare ourselves to help Montenegro in the coming months,” Mr Bilčík told the RTCG portal.
The EU, he added, provided €113 million for Montenegro during the pandemic.
