Biogradska Gora national park open to visitors as of tomorrow

The tourism season in the Biogradska Gora national park starts on Saturday, 15 April, 15 days before the usual date, Pobjeda writes.

The director of NP Biogradska Gora, Sasa Jeknic, said the company wanted to take advantage of good weather conditions and open the site for nature lovers during the Easter holidays.

“We’ve prepared everything and guests can come,” Jeknic said.

He said there was a lot of work on repairing the infrastructure that had been damaged during very cold winter.

“Despite this, almost 90% of preparatory works have been completed. Only chemical protection of wooden furniture has left to be finished. As in previous seasons, we will have new infrastructure facilities at the beginning of this season. Last year we improved electricity supply. This year the water supply network has been renovated. Each facility has got its own hydrant. We expect works on the restaurant to be completed soon and that it will be opened,” said Jeknic.

The prices of all services in the NP Biogradska Gora remained the same as last year. Daily fishing license costs €20. Entrance to the park costs €3 for adults and €1.5 for children. There are discounts for tourist groups. Annual ticket for neighbours of the national park, ie residents of Kolasin, Mojkovac and Berane, costs €5.
