Ever since the Law on Freedom of Religion was adopted, the alleged endangerment of Serbs campaign doesn’t stop. Statements that Montenegrin people in Serbia are privileged and that rights of Serbs in Montenegro are endangered keep rolling in. However, the truth is only one, and figures are accurate: Belgrade is serving false information.
According to the accurate data, number of Serbs in Montenegro has tripled over the 20 years period, whereas number of Montenegrin people in Serbia has reduced by three times.
Minister of Culture, Mr Aleksandar Bogdanović, asks where over 80.000 Montenegrins from Serbia disappeared in only 20 years. Where did over 120.000 new Serbs in Montenegro come from?
“So much about the assimilation of Serbs in Montenegro and the perfect position of Montenegrins in Serbia. This is accurate data, pure facts. Everything else is just a great Serbian propaganda and manipulation”, says Mr Bogdanović.
Useful to remember that Belgrade can’t come to terms with the fact that Montenegro’s destiny is not in its hands.
Serbia’s minister of foreign affairs, Mr Ivica Dačić, claims, without zero responsibility, that he is the victim of great Montenegrin aggression. Mr Dačić, who wanted to expel from Belgrade all Montenegrins who didn’t oppose Law on Freedom of Religion.
Montenegrin public has been repeatedly stating that the new Law didn’t endanger anybody and that nobody was trying to wrest something.
