Bojanic prepares to establish a political party?

Mladen Bojanić

In political circles that supported presidential candidate Mladen Bojanic, there are rumours that he is preparing to establish a political party and thus continue his political activity right after the presidential elections, Dnevne Novine learns from several sources.

The reason for such thinking lies in the fact that Bojanic formed an experts team including some of prominent political figures, without consulting representatives of political parties that supported him to run in presidential elections.

Bojanic’s legal advisor is Boris Maric, the legal coordinator of the Centre for Civic Education (CGO), who used to be a minister in the government of election trust as a candidate of the URA Civic Movement. Mila Kasalica, a well-known economic and financial analyst, is in charge of finances. A lot of fuss has been triggered by the involvement of the independent MP, former chairman of the Socialist People’s Party (SNP) caucus, Aleksandar Damjanovic, who is responsible for economic issues in Bojanic’s team.

Democratic Front (DF), Democratic Montenegro (DCG), Socialist People’s Party (SNP) and the URA Civic Movement supported Mladen Bojanic as a common candidate in the upcoming presidential elections.

There is obvious dissatisfaction with Bojanic’s moves in those parties, as well as expectation that he will continue his political engagement by forming a party along with these three experts.
