The behavior of the expert engaged in the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vladimir Vukovic Volođa at the Podgorica airport, when he most brutally insulted TVCG journalist Nebojša Šofranac, and the appointment of Ms Bojana Đačić, a person with dangerous nationalist views, as the head-teacher of the Ristan Pavlović elementary school, who was dismissed from this position after the fierce pressure of the public, shows that Ms Vesna Bratić‘s Ministry has avoided distancing itself from socially unacceptable behavior.
The long-term human rights activist Aleksandar Zeković says that the attitude towards the journalist at the airport in Podgorica shows how pronounced the cultural problem is towards dissidents and those who are perceived as dissidents on the basis of manipulations and political propaganda.
Mr Zeković clearly says that when the state gives in to populism and nationalism, it weakens and an atmosphere of fear, encouraging lynching, is established.
