Carević appointed president of the Municipality of Budva

Candidate for the president and holder of the list ‘For the future of Montenegro’, r Marko Bato Carević, was appointed president of the Municipality of Budva by majority of 19 votes.

SDP councilor, Mr Petar Odžić and URA councilor, Mr Blažo Rađenović, abstained at the vote.

In the first part of the session, councilors adopted the first four items of the agenda which refer to the Decisions on the Appointment of the Committee for the Statute and regulations, finances and economy and development, planning and arrangement of space, public utility and housing activities, as well as appointment of the Committee for Social Affairs and Intermunicipal and International Cooperation.

Ms Katarina Kažanegra and Mr Predrag Jelušić resigned from their functions today. They were directors of HG Budva Riviera and Coastal Zone Management.
